The Currency Converter is the only tool that contacts an external service: it fetches published exchange-rate tables from a public API so you get live mid-market rates. Your typed amounts are not sent to our servers — only standard rate data is requested from the provider.

Mission

XSular Tools exists to provide fast, free, browser-based utilities without sign-up friction or opaque data handling.

Simple tasks—format JSON, count words, convert colors, check a password—should not require accounts, heavy tracking, or sending sensitive input to unknown servers.

Privacy model

• Default: tool input processed locally in the browser; not stored on XSular servers.
• No user accounts; no database of pasted tool content.
• Anonymous analytics: Google Analytics 4, Vercel Analytics (aggregate page views only).
• Advertising: Google AdSense (may set ad cookies; does not receive tool input).
• Exception: Currency Converter fetches rate tables from exchangerate-api.com; amounts typed are not sent to our servers.

How the site is funded

XSular Tools is free to use. Revenue comes from display advertising (Google AdSense) and is supported by anonymous usage analytics to improve performance and prioritize useful tools.

There is no premium tier, subscription, or paywall on core tool features.
