Slug Best Practices
Keep slugs concise and keyword-focused without stuffing. Hyphens are the most common separator on the web because search engines treat them as word boundaries. Remove stop words when you need shorter URLs, but keep them when the slug would become ambiguous without them.
Always preview slugs before publishing — especially for titles with accents, numbers, or punctuation that may normalize differently than you expect.
