Image compressor: JPG, PNG, WebP, and folder paths
Compress JPG, PNG, and WebP, or convert images to WebP. Drop a folder and the ZIP keeps each file’s path.
Key Features
- JPG, PNG, and WebP, quality 0–100 in steps of 20, starting at 60
- WebP mode for JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF, AVIF, HEIC, HEIF, ICO, and WebP
- Quality 1–100, default 80, with lossless and optional EXIF
- Folder uploads keep the relative path of every image
Common Use Cases
- Shrink a photo folder before sending it
- Convert a nested set of images to WebP without flattening the folders
Benefits
- Files stay on the device
- A mixed folder skips documents instead of packing them with the images
Folder paths stay in the ZIP
Choose a folder, or drop one. Each image keeps the path it had inside that folder. photos/trip/a.jpg is still photos/trip/a.jpg inside compressed_images. WebP mode only changes the extension to .webp and still keeps the folders. The download names are compressed_images.zip and webp_images.zip.
Images and documents stay separate
This tool keeps images. A PDF or a DOCX in the same folder is skipped. Use the file compressor for documents. Compression runs in the browser, so the files stay on the device.
